An average 3Kw kettle boiling 1 litre of water takes two and a half minutes to boil costing 3.5p each boil providing 4.4 (225ml) cups of tea or coffee. The equivalent daily cost is 33.43p per day that's over 6 times the cost of a Tap Factory Instant Boiling Hot Water Tap.
